Care Support Workers - DERBY & ILKESTON

We are currently recruiting Care and Support Workers to provide care support to service users.  The post holder will work flexibly to ensure individuals’ needs are met while maximizing independence, choice, dignity, privacy and well-being.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support to service users within their homes to develop independent living skills. Support will include assisting with budgeting, meal planning and cooking, encouraging exercise and healthy living.

Our ideal candidate will preferably have some experience within the sector, and will demonstrate excellent people skills and a willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team. We are seeking applicants with a strong customer focus, who view this as an opportunity to enable service users to achieve higher levels of independence.

Due to the nature of this post, a DBS check will be undertaken for the successful applicant, but only with their prior consent.

  • Ability to work with different kinds of clients and attend their needs by delivering physical, psychological and social care and supporting the smooth running of the routines within the hospital wards
  • Current PIN certificate

  • Carry out appropriate skills for the job.
  • Ability to work under pressure, on your own or as part of a team
